Meet Chef Ludo — a French private chef now based on the island of São Miguel in the Azores. With over 30 years of experience in renowned restaurants and pâtisseries across France, England, and Canada, he brings classic French technique together with a modern appreciation for local ingredients.
His culinary philosophy is simple: deliver refined, thoughtful cuisine in a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. Deeply inspired by the land and sea of the Azores, Chef Ludo creates seasonal menus built around fresh regional products — from local fish and seafood to island-grown vegetables, tropical fruits, and artisanal cheeses. Menus may be fully tailored to guests’ preferences or curated by the chef, guided by the best produce available each day.
